There are numerous causes of poor posture: sitting at a computer/laptop, driving extended hours, reading books while sitting in the same spot for long, staring at a phone all day, etc.
So to solve your problem, we've picked some of the best posture correctors that will give you the best results.
When you get right down to it, wearing a posture corrector isn’t fun or comfortable. It’s much easier to just slouch. But slouching leads to other pains so which is more uncomfortable in the long run?
There are dozens of posture corrector braces on the market claiming their product is very effective. And many of them have such glowing reviews. However we discovered that there are a lot of Chinese manufactures that are posting a lot of fake reviews. If you look on Amazon for instance and don’t see the “Verified Purchase” label next to a review, chances are about 99.9% it is fake.
So, from the hundreds of posture braces, we did the research and compiled what we believe are the top 5 Posture Corrector for Men. Check out our research and viewpoints on these:

1. Sellbite Posture Corrector Brace
![Sellbite_](http://fitmanplan.com/wordpress/wp-content/uploads/2019/03/Sellbite_-287x300.jpg)
The Sellbite is a good basic posture corrector that has backpack-like padded shoulder straps. It’s small and lightweight so it fits nicely under clothing. Plus since it doesn’t cover a lot of skin area it won’t make you sweat as much as one that covers a large area.
It is one size fits all so if you have a smaller frame there may be a lot of excess strap you’ll have to stuff in your pants if you need to hide that you are wearing a posture corrector. Since you shouldn’t wear it for long periods anyway, why not just wear it at home to re-train your body on how it feels to stand erect.

2. Truweo Posture Corrector
![Truweo_](http://fitmanplan.com/wordpress/wp-content/uploads/2019/03/Truweo_-300x300.jpg)
The Truweo Posture Corrector is another solid performer and has the advantage of multiple sizes. The complaints about our number one choice is that for smaller body frames there is too much left over strap to try to hide.
We do like that this one is a little more substantial in its design, however it covers more body area so it could make you more sweaty.

3. Flexguard Posture Corrector with Lumbar Support
![Flexgaurd](http://fitmanplan.com/wordpress/wp-content/uploads/2019/03/Flexgaurd.jpg)
FlexGuard Support Brace Posture Corrector is different than the others in that it also has a lumbar support. While this isn’t one you may want to wear for long periods of time, it may be perfect while you are doing some light strength training, especially if you have lower back pain.
We like that it comes with a booklet that provides additional information and exercises. Posture correctors are really only part of the solution. Strengthening your core and back muscles are an essential part to maintaining good posture.
With the FlexGuard posture brace you train your spine and muscles to return to their natural alignment but you still need strong muscles to hold everything in place.

4. mmFit Magnetic Orthopedic Back Brace Posture Corrector
![mmFit](http://fitmanplan.com/wordpress/wp-content/uploads/2019/03/mmFit.jpg)
This posture corrector has something different in that it has magnets that run along the spine. Quite frankly we’re skeptical about this sort of thing but some people swear by them. According to the manufacturer, the magnets “soothe sore muscles and joints, improve circulation, and relieve stiffness, pain, and tension.”
This posture corrector also includes lumbar support. One problem to be aware of is that with these is that the lumbar support may not necessarily fall exactly on your lumbar. Theoretically selecting the right size for you should give you the right lumbar positioning but everyone is different.

CONS
5. Upright GO Posture Trainer and Corrector
![UprightGO](http://fitmanplan.com/wordpress/wp-content/uploads/2019/03/UprightGO.jpg)
The Upright Go Posture Trainer isn’t really in the same class as the others, but it really does have some merit. This is an electronic device you stick on your back and when you start to slouch it vibrates.
It includes an app that goes on your phone so you can develop a personalized training plan.
What we do like is that this forces you to develop the muscles that give you good posture. There is nothing holding your shoulders back but you.
But overall we don’t like this concept. There’s just too much to go wrong. We just wanted to make sure you were aware of this type of device.

Conclusion
There is a lot of duplication on the market for posture correctors so we tried to sort through them and give you the best options to choose from. We like the Sellbite posture corrector for its light weight and simplicity.
No posture corrector is going to be totally comfortable but that’s sort of the point. They are targeted at getting you out of your comfort zone back in to a good posture.
You can decide for yourself which approach would work for you as they all have some merits.
