This is a great basic resistance band kit that has all the essentials. Each end of the resistance tubes have a larger metal carabiner that makes changing out the accessories faster.
We like that each band is marked with its level of resistance. Of course, as with all resistance bands, the resistance a band will give depends on how far it is stretched. The further you go the more resistance offered.
The material is claimed to be extra thick high-grade latex that is supposed to keep it from drying out or snapping. They say this set has a lifetime warranty but all resistance bands will eventually break so this warranty will depend on whether the company is still in business.
One thing that we wish all these kits have is a sleeve protector you can use to wrap the bands around hard objects. This protects the band from damage. Of course they do have a door accessory so if you have a door handy you may not need it.

This is a little more than a set of resistance bands. The kit includes a nice base you can stand on that lets you hook the bands to for doing the exercises.
What we really like about this is it is more than just a workout tool. It comes with guided workout videos that you can follow along to while you workout. So it's more like a full workout program.
It also has a full community of other people who purchased it as well as some trainers who can answer your questions.
So if you buy the BodyBoss you are getting a complete fitness program instead of just a set of resistance bands.

3. Coolrunner Resistance Bands Set with Nylon Sleeves
What's different about this kit is the nylon sleeves that cover the latex tubes. The sleeves create a layer of safety. If a band snaps it can't hit you in the eye. It also protects the band itself by protecting it from nicks and cuts.
Plus if you do exercises that rub across your forearms, the cover makes it a little more comfortable.
The only downside of the nylon coverings is they limit the stretch of the band so for very tall people you may not get the full stretch.

The Kootek resistance band set is a good product with a few extras with it. Not only does it have all the essentials it also comes with a set of resistance loops so you can workout muscles you won't get to without them.
It also has some gliding discs that you can put under your hands or feet to do some sliding exercises.
The downside is there is no exercise manual to show you how to use everything.

We chose to add this set in the top 5 simply because it has been around for quite a few years and has almost 7,000 reviews. It has everything you need and the quality is high. You don't stay in business that long and get that many reviews if you have a crappy product.
This one has all the basics and the company website also has lots of other quality products. We purchased one of their exercise balls years ago and still use it.
